Instruments to measure strength in women with fibromyalgia
A systemic review

ABSTRACT
Objective: The objective of this work is to determine the tests used to measure muscle strength in women with FM. Method: A systematic search was carried out from January to March 2023 in the following databases: PubMed, EBSCO, ProQuest, LILACS, Cochrane and Scopus. Studies reporting one or more methods or instruments to measure strength in women with FM were included. Results: A total of 2017 documents were found, obtaining as a result 12 studies that corresponded to the inclusion criteria. It was identified that five of the twelve studies had a physical exercise intervention. Conclusion: The methods for measuring strength in women with FM are variable but specificity is not shown in a single muscle, the instruments generally measure various muscle groups, the most frequent measured muscle groups are the upper and lower body.
