Abstract
The objective was to carry out a systematic review about the modulation of the inflammatory response by the decrease in the expression of toll like receptors (TLR) by exercise. A systematic search was carried out in the PUBMED and Google Scholar databases. The articles were selected through the Raayan platform. The eligibility criteria was filled by 19 experimental studies. The results pointed to exercise as a modulator of the inflammatory response, leading to a transient anti-inflammatory state, with resistance and long-term exercise being those with a direct effect on the negative modulation of the TLR. For aerobics exercises, it's necessary to consider the intensity and time of the intervention.
