About the Journal

The Revista Andaluza de Medicina del Deporte (RAMD) is the official publication of the Andalusian Center of Sports Medicine, a dependent body of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Junta de Andalucía.
The RAMD is a quarterly publication, Open Access, that does not require payment by the author for sending in their manuscript, nor for its publication. In the case of acceptance, the author will transfer the rights. The articles available immediately after publication are subject to the CC-BY-NC-ND license.
The journal constitutes a multidisciplinary forum for researchers, specialists in Physical Education and Sports Medicine, and for various professionals whose activities are correlated to physical activity, sport and health. Due to the multidisciplinary nature of this area of knowledge, the RAMD covers a variety of disciplines relating to Sports Medicine which makes it a high value publication for all professionals related to Medicine and Sport Sciences. It publishes original scientific articles, review, clinical cases and special articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
